Hou Yifan concedes to Short but still makes history

English grandmaster Nigel Short (R) wins the 10th Tradewise Chess Festival in Gibraltar, Jan 2, 2012, after beating Chinese grandmaster Hou Yifan (L) in a blitz playoff. Both players had finished on 8/10. The 17-year-old Hou made history by beating the legendary and almost invincible Judit Polgar of Hungary, the strongest female player of all time, in round seven of the Gibraltar tournament.
