Policemen secure the streets of Peshawar after multiple bomb attacks in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province May 28, 2009. Two bombs exploded on Thursday in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar killing six people and gunmen on rooftops ambushed police as they arrived at the scene, officials and witnesses said.
Two other blasts in the busy bazaar in Peshawar killed at least five people and injured over 100.
The attacks came hours after Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the Wednesday's huge suicide bomb attack in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore, which killed around 30 people.
