Fire-eater: Saint Roque, please give me a wife
A fire-eater entertains the crowd at a street procession honouring Saint Roque, a miracle worker and the patron saint of the unmarried, in Valenzuela City, north of Manila May 12, 2009. During the street procession, unmarried men chant "Saint Roque, please give us a wife" and approach unmarried women for a dance as they try to find a match. According to local beliefs, singles who take part in the procession will be able to get married before the end of the year.
