Vietnam to organize Asian Volleyball Championship

HANOI. Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam will host Asian Volleyball Championship from Sept. 5 to Sept. 13 in Hanoi, Vietnam News Agency reported on Friday.

It will be the country's first time to host the event. The event is expected to draw the participation of ten Asia's leading teams.

Vietnamese national team said it hopes to gain experience from the championship.
