Dutch Verhoeven wins second stage in motorcycle in Dakar Rally
BUENOS AIRES, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- Dutchman Frans Verhoeven on Sunday won the second stage of motorcycle competition at the Dakar Rally, held in the cities of Santa Rosa (La Pampa) and Puerto Madryn (Chubut).Verhoeven clocked two hours, 14 minutes and 48 seconds, sending French Cyril Despres to second place at 41 seconds. Another Frenchman David Fretigne was third, 1 minute 4 seconds adrift.
